Humidity checks into Houston as rodeo checks out

Slightly muggy, unseasonable heat and partly sunny skies are on tap for the rest of the week and weekend in the Houston region. Moist air is likely to flow inland from the Gulf of Mexico during the next few days, raising humidity levels slightly, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters said no rain is expected.
