Cold fronts won't do much to back off Houston's heat

A break from the recent muggy heat is expected as a pair of mild cold fronts push into the Houston region during the next few days. The first mild Norther won't do much to lower recent unseasonable temperatures, but the second one is likely to slightly drop mercury readings that have been nearly 10 degrees above normal for the past several days, according to the National Weather Service.
